What is the difference between an "Organization" and a "Workspace"?

An Organization is your company’s main account in Opus, while Workspaces are collaborative spaces inside it. This structure keeps company-wide settings separate from team projects.

Organization

The Organization manages company-wide needs:

  1. Billing, subscriptions, and payment methods.
  2. User management and global security policies.
  3. Contains all Workspaces.

Workspace

A Workspace is a team space within an Organization:

  1. Has its own members and permissions (e.g., you can be an Admin in one Workspace and a Viewer in another).
  2. Groups workflows for teams like Finance or Marketing.
  3. Every user must be part of at least one Workspace.
